Spicy Kachumber

 

Preparation Time: 10 minutes.

Cooking Time: No cooking

Serves: 4.

 

A chatpata salad spiked with cumin and chilli powder. Vitamins A and C are the two important nutrients provided by this spicy  kachumber. Serve it chilled with Dhan-saak Dal, and Brown Rice, to complete a full meal on a lazy afternoon.

Ingredients

1 cup sliced onions
1 cup cucumber, thinly sliced
½ cup sliced tomatoes
½ teaspoon roasted cumin seed (jeera)powder
¼ teaspoon chilli powder
juice of ½ lemon
salt to taste


Directions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a serving bowl and refrigerate.

Serve chilled.
